Just before 1:30 a.m., a 2016 Honda sedan was heading north on Millersport near North Forest Road, Buffalo, when it left the road and crashed into a sign. The vehicle ended up overturned and split in half on the side of the road. The driver, Athithiyan Thevarasa, a 24-year-old Williamsville resident, was killed. His passenger, Mithushan Premakumar, was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of facial injuries and remained there Saturday morning in fair condition, police said. Shortly before 5 a.m., a man lost control of his motorcycle on the on-ramp at the ‘I-190 split,’ from I-190 North to Route 198 East, Buffalo. Tragically, he was killed. Around 7:30 p.m., a driver crashed a Lamborghini SUV into a car carrying three people in Queens, NYC, on Christmas Eve, killing one and injuring the others, before fleeing on foot, police and sources said.
